All documents originate in Karpel and are securely transmitted to OnBase using the Karpel PBK API and Hyland’s API ensuring a controlled, auditable flow between systems.

Here’s the real-world process:

- Court documents such as writs and bench warrants are created in Karpel

- Documents are sent to OnBase for secure review and electronic signature

- Circuit Court Judges review and sign directly within OnBase

- Once signed, documents are automatically returned to Karpel via API

- The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office receives them in Karpel, ready for execution
